Helga lives at the Iliad Book Shop in North Hollywood, California. She and her brother came as kittens right after the earthquake in 1994. They were living in an empty lot down the street and were rescued by the owner. They live inside the shop and outside, behind the shop. At night they are put outside, but often try to sneak inside through the bathroom window.
